My Friends Tell Me I am Not an Atheist :: Personal Narrative essay about myself

My Friends Tell Me I am Not an atheistical Its remarkable how many of my friends insist I am non an atheist. It seems pretty obvious to me that I dont believe any divinity exists, and that pretty much makes me an atheist. Nevertheless, here these mint are, so insistent that I cannot possibly be an atheist. Youre too nice, they say, or you real believe, you just dont do it it (hows that again?). Sometimes I hear something like You believe in something, and that is authentically theology or you are still looking, but youll go back Him (hes invited to stop by my house at any time). When I apply the time to converse with these tribe, however, it usually comes down to this Im really an deist, they say, because I am volitioning to admit that I dont feel there isnt any god. It is ostensibly so important for people to believe that Im really just an agnostical that I lift this to be a haunting sign of the concur religion has on people. It is tragic that the mere thought of a uncorrupted friend or relative being an actual, avowed atheist is so horrible that it must be denied. Sometimes I grow the disaster to explain that I am an atheist not because I be intimate there isnt a god, but because I dont believe there is. If person insisted that their pet fish could talk, I really couldnt say I knew it didnt, specially if I could not go and see for myself, but it would still be fair for me to say that there are no talking fish. The relevancy of this is that I do not believe god exists any much than than I believe fish can talk. Certainly, I have not examined all species of fish, nor every single fish for that matter, nor could I ever save such a feat, but the claim that they exist is so cussed to my own personal experience and reliable facts that I simply go forth not believe it unless very definitive proof is provided. Of course, if I overthrow persons pet fish and it talks to me, I am still wiser to discharge the possibilities of trickery or insanity before believing it can really talk. But if I found many fish that talked, trustworthy people confirmed it, scientists published carefully researched papers about them, and newspaper headlines hear INCREDIBLE DISCOVERY TALKING FISH then it would be much than reasonable to believe they existed. My Friends Tell Me I am Not an Atheist Personal Narrative essay about myselfMy Friends Tell Me I am Not an Atheist Its remarkable how many of my friends insist I am not an atheist.
